What We Do

For over 35 years Will County Habitat for Humanity has built homes and fulfilled dreams in partnership with hardworking individuals and families. Through a collaborative effort, we work towards increasing the affordable housing stock in our community. Homes are sold to qualifying partner homebuyers and financed with affordable loans.
We also provide related services to qualifying Will County residents and neighborhoods, such as home repairs and a diverse neighborhood revitalization program.
Who We Serve
We serve communities that have been excluded from the homeownership market by centuries of unjust housing laws and financing mechanisms. We support our families in becoming successful homeowners through financial and homeownership training and as an ongoing resource after they move into their homes.
How We Work
We are a non-profit developer and housing organization that builds a healthier Will County by creating, preserving, and advocating for opportunities for families and communities to build equity through affordable homeownership. We are a hand up, not a hand out.
