What We Do
For over 35 years Will-Grundy Habitat for Humanity has built homes and fulfilled dreams in partnership with hardworking individuals and families.
Through a collaborative effort, we work towards increasing the affordable housing stock in our community. Homes are sold to qualifying partner homebuyers and financed with affordable loans.
We also provide related services to qualifying Will and Grundy County residents and neighborhoods, such as critical home repairs and a neighborhood revitalization program.
We serve communities that have been excluded from the homeownership market by unjust housing laws and financing mechanisms. We support our families through financial and homeownership training and as an ongoing resource after they move into their homes.
We are a non-profit developer and housing organization that builds healthier Will and Grundy Counties by creating, preserving, and advocating for opportunities for families and communities to build equity through affordable homeownership. We are a hand up, not a hand out.
