Celebrating the Adler Family at Habitat Hero Award Dinner 2024
In a heartwarming celebration of community commitment, Will County Habitat for Humanity (WCHFH) and Chicagoland Habitat will recognize the Adler family’s extraordinary legacy at the upcoming Habitat Heroes Award Dinner on June 13, 2024.
The Adler family’s roots run deep within WCHFH. Joe Adler, one of the organization’s founding members, dedicated much of his life to advocating for the Will County area, with affordable housing a key pillar of that work. His vision laid the groundwork for Habitat’s growth in the region.
Chris Adler, current president of Adler Roofing, carries forward his father’s legacy. Chris witnessed Joe’s efforts to support the Habitat mission alongside volunteers one year to the next. As an adult, Chris stepped into leadership roles within WCHFH, serving on the board of directors for 12 pivotal years.
The Adler family’s impact extends beyond financial contributions. They actively participate in home builds, donate construction materials, and provide invaluable advice. Chris’s involvement with the Joliet ReStore board underscores his commitment to sustainability.
Chris’s leadership isn’t confined to Habitat. He serves on multiple organizational boards, advocating for holistic community development. The Adlers believe that everyone deserves a decent place to live, and their actions reflect this conviction.
As we gather on June 13, 2024, let’s celebrate the Adlers—a family whose compassion and dedication have transformed lives. The Habitat Heroes Award Dinner promises to be a memorable occasion, honoring those who make a difference, one home at a time.
