On June 8, 2024 Will County Habitat for Humanity hosted its 3rd annual event, the Will County Beer & Bourbon Fest presented by Blue Ribbon Products at Hollywood Casino, Joliet.

Will County Breweries, Community Sponsors, and the Joliet Bourbon Club collaborated with Will County Habitat for Humanity to make a lasting difference in our community by supporting Habitat’s Veteran Build Programs. This was a fun and exciting event that brought the community together to support local veterans and their families. Will County Beer & Bourbon Fest featured craft beer and bourbon samplings, food trucks, VIP area and merchandise vendors. 

A safe and stable home is vital for the success of a family. Homeownership allows families to save more, invest in education, live in healthier environments, and have more financial stability. Supporting this event not only helps families, it is an investment in our community.

Will County Habitat is actively addressing the lack of affordable housing by partnering with military service members, their families, and veterans to help build and repair affordable housing. Will County Habitat’s hand-up not a hand-out approach asks partner families to invest sweat-equity hours to build their home and volunteer with us. Learn more about the cause.
