Habitat for Humanity receives contributions from generous partners throughout the year. Donations usually take the form of monetary contributions. Often however, donors want to do more, but lack awareness of the many ways in which they can help. For details on contributions, call our office or look below to see some of the ways to donate:
Donate Online
It's easy, quick and safe to support the house-building, hope-building work of Habitat for Humanity of Will county. Please use the Network for Good Site, with the link in the box to the left, or you can click here to get to the Habitat Affiliate Donation Site then click the orange “designate your gift” bar and specify Will County Habitat for Humanity.
Donate by Mail
To donate by mail, please send your donation to 417 W. Taylor Street, Suite 2W, Joliet, IL 60435.
Matching Gifts
Ever wish you could give more to Habitat for Humanity? Thousands of companies have Matching Gift programs which double, or even triple individual, tax-deductible contributions made by their employees. Check with your employer to determine if they offer a matching gifts program.
Donations of Building Materials
We accept donations from corporations and individuals of building materials that we can use in our home construction or for resale at a local Habitat ReStore. For information on how to donate new or lightly used build materials call or email us.
Planned Giving
Planned gifts may qualify for significant tax deductions. Giving options include bequests, charitable gift annuities, and charitable remainder trusts. To find out how you can financially benefit Habitat for Humanity and provide a lasting legacy, call 1-800-643-7845 ext. 16.

Gift of Stocks or Bonds
stock has appreciated, you also avoid a capital gains tax on the appreciation. In addition to helping Habitat, you may diversify away from low-basis, long-term holdings into other assets that will better suit your current needs. If you would like to discuss a gift of stocks or bonds, please call 1-800-643-7845 ext. 16.
